After comprehensive neurological evaluation, a complete range of electrical tests on the brain, ear, nerves and muscle are available upon physician referral. To make an appointment for a neurology consultation, please call the neurologist's office directly.

Primary Stroke Center

Milford Regional Medical Center was designated a Primary Stroke Center in 2005 by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the American Heart Association. Our staff has developed a comprehensive system for rapid diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients admitted to the emergency department. This includes always being equipped to provide brain imaging scans, having neurologists available to conduct patient evaluations and using clot-busting medications when appropriate.
