Cancer Care
The Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center provides world-renowned cancer care close to home. Milford Regional’s cancer patients have always had access to top quality cancer care but through the collaboration between Milford Regional and Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center, comprehensive care is available right in Milford, close to our patients’ network of family and friends.
The 54,000 square-foot Cancer Center, located across the street from Milford Regional’s main campus, provides the following services:
- Medical oncology provided by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
- Radiation therapy provided by Brigham and Women’s Physician’s Organization
- Diagnostic imaging (PET/CT, CT, MRI and X-ray) and laboratory testing by Milford Regional Medical Center
In addition, patients now have access to the clinical trials offered through Dana-Farber and can participate in living with cancer, educational and screening programs and support groups. Commission on Cancer Accreditation
Milford Regional Medical Center is accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). To earn voluntary CoC accreditation, a cancer program must meet 34 CoC quality care standards, be evaluated every three years through a survey process, and maintain levels of excellence in the delivery of comprehensive patient-centered care.
