STATE PROGRAMS
If you live in Massachusetts, you may be able to get health insurance or help paying your health care bills through a state program such as MassHealth, the Health Connector or Health Safety Net. Each program has different rules and income limits.

DISCOUNTS
If you do not have insurance, or your health insurance did not cover all your bill, you may qualify for a discount. A paper application along with supporting documentation may be required. There are two types of discounts:
1. If your bills are for an emergency or medically necessary care, then you may be able to get a 54% to 100% discount if you do not qualify for any state programs. The discount amount will depend on your household income.If you qualify, you will not pay more than 44% of total charges you owe for services beginning March 1, 2024. We update this amount each year. You have 240 days to apply for this once you receive a statement. If you do not qualify for financial assistance, you may contact the Patient Financial Service Department 508-473-1190 #8, to discuss other options that may be available such as a payment plan.
