Milford Regional has partnered with the highly regarded infertility specialists at Boston IVF to provide infertility services close to home. With 15,000+ healthy babies delivered, the highest singleton birth rate in New England, Boston IVF prides itself on being the preferred fertility treatment practice in New England.

Infertility is a common problem that is experienced by one in six couples. The good news is that many treatment options have become available to couples who are having difficulty becoming pregnant. Speak to your Milford Regional primary care physician or your Ob/Gyn physician about your interest in being considered for infertility treatment and they will contact our infertility office to begin the process. Your initial consultation will take place in the office on the fourth floor of the Hill Health Center at Milford Regional. Throughout your treatment process, you will be receiving top-quality care from a leading endocrinologist and a dedicated nursing team.

The first step is to find the cause of infertility through a series of medical tests. You and your partner will go through this process together with the help of our specialists.

Most of the medical tests will be done at Milford Regional including:

• Blood tests
• Semen analysis
• Sonography
• Hysterosalpingogram (fallopian tube examination)
• Sonohysterogram (uterus examination)

Once the diagnosis has been made, the physician will develop an individualized treatment plan for you. Time in the early morning (6:45 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.) has been reserved for infertility patients at the lab in the Hill Health Center and on the fourth floor of the Hill Health Center for blood tests and ultrasound, allowing for quick results and ongoing monitoring.

If you and your physician decide to try intrauterine insemination (IUI) or invitro fertilization (IVF), you will be referred to the headquarters of Boston IVF in Lexington, MA. Learn more about the services offered at the Lexington facility.
