Parents can be assured that their baby will receive exceptional health care 24 hours a day, seven days a week by Boston Children’s physicians. These on-site specialists check on your baby soon after birth and work with your pediatrician to ensure that your baby enters the world with the very best care.

Certified Lactation Consultants

Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants are available to address any patient concerns before delivery, during mom’s stay with us or after discharge. Though breastfeeding is natural, it is a new skill for both mom and babies to learn. It is recommended that moms meet one on one with a Certified Lactation Consultant for evaluation, education and/or treatment by the time you reach 34 weeks. An appointment can be made by calling 508-422-2960. Learn more about breastfeeding and our lactation consultants.
