Milford Regional Medical Center is hosting a free, monthly support group for family members of loved ones afflicted with Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD), or others impacted by the condition. The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) will lead the monthly meetings, which take place the last Saturday of each month.
FTD is the most commonly diagnosed dementia in individuals under the age of 65. The condition initially impacts behavior or language and, like all dementias, it is neurodegenerative. To learn more about FTD, visit theaftd.org.
This support group meets the last Saturday of each month from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Milford Regional.
