Orthopedics New England Joins Milford Regional’s Medical Staff
Milford Regional Medical Center is very pleased to welcome the members of Orthopedics New England to their active medical staff. These physicians have recently opened a new practice at 1 Lumber Street in Hopkinton adjacent to Milford Regional’s Urgent Care, lab and radiology. Four of the physicians, Drs. Christiano, Osuch, Zannikos and Sganga, are accepting new patients in Hopkinton.
Arthur Christiano, MD, graduated from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY in 1997. He performed an internship and residency in general surgery/orthopedic surgery at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ. Dr. Christiano continued his training with a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA and a pediatric orthopedic rotation at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is board certified in both orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine. He is a team physician for Framingham State College, Medfield High School, and Boston Junior Bruins in Marlborough.
Daniel Osuch, MD earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he also completed an internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Osuch trained at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA with a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine and arthroscopy. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is an Assistant Clinical Instructor at Tufts Medical Center, Department of Orthopedic & Rehabilitation Medicine.
Symeon Zannikos, MD attended the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio where he earned his degree in medicine. He performed a general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA and its affiliated hospitals. Dr. Zannikos was fellowship trained in spine surgery at New England Baptist Hospital and The Boston Spine Group. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery, a Clinical Associate in Orthopedic Surgery and instructor for the medicals students at Physical Diagnosis Labs at Tufts Medical School.
Michael Sganga, DPM graduated from Temple University of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia, PA in 2013. He completed an internship and residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Mount Auburn Hospital, Boston, MA and was a Clinical Fellow in Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Sganga is board certified in foot and ankle surgery.
