New Milford Regional Corporators Approved
Six new Corporators were officially approved at Milford Regional Medical Center's Annual Meeting held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Milford on Tuesday, February 10. They serve as the Medical Center's ambassadors and provide important leadership in support of Milford Regional’s philanthropic success.
The new Corporators include:
Alberto Correia, of Milford, is a member of the Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation Board of Trustees, and a longtime, dedicated supporter. Born and raised in Milford, Al is involved in several key initiatives throughout our community including the Milford Town Finance Committee, St. Mary’s Church Finance Committee, Claflin Hill Orchestra Board and the College of the Holy Cross Club Board. Al is currently the Vice President of Harvard Apparatus Regenerative Technology in Holliston.
Lloyd L. Hamm, Jr., of Upton, is President and Chief Executive Officer at Grafton Suburban Credit Union. Lloyd has nearly thirty years of banking, strategic planning and business development experience and is well known and respected as a leader in the banking industry. Lloyd has held numerous service and leadership roles in community banking, government service and non-profit organizations including Boy Scouts of America.
Keith J. McGrath, of Milford, is the Owner and Principal Consultant for Smashnet Information Design, helping companies and entrepreneurs strategize, design and build innovative solutions to enhance their business. The son of the late Marcella DiAntonio McGrath, a beloved nurse for whom the McGrath Medical Center is named, Keith has personal ties to Milford Regional Medical Center. Keith has been an important leader for our community and continues to play an active role in ensuring Milford’s strong future.
Chris Morin, of Milford, is the Manager of Morin’s Studio in Milford. Morin’s Studio was founded in 1922 by George D. Morin. Ninety years later, through four generations, Morin’s is still family-owned and operated providing high-quality and professional photography services both in their studio and off-site, a full service camera shop, digital photo lab and framing. Morin’s Studio has been a steadfast supporter of Milford Regional and Chris is carrying on that legacy of commitment. Chris continues to be a strong advocate for the needs of the Milford community through his involvement on the Milford Finance Committee.
Brian J. Paras, of Hopkinton, is the Director of International Sales and Marketing at Covaris, Inc. in Woburn, dedicated to providing the tools and technology to enable novel drug formulation and innovative drug discovery. Brian appreciates the importance of community involvement and has played an active role in supporting the efforts of the East Coast Jumbos, a hockey and learn to skate program for participants with special needs.
Lisa Whalen, of Franklin, is a dedicated registered nurse with more than twenty years’ experience at Boston Children’s Hospital specializing in neurosurgery, neurology and neuro-oncology. Lisa has provided important leadership in training and mentoring nurses in this area of critical care. Lisa has tremendous experience and insight in providing high-quality, compassionate patient care.
