But be careful: excessive unprotected sun exposure can cause sunburns and set you up for skin cancers. Also, sunlight ages the skin, slowly causing wrinkles and liver spots. Specialized Care. Aphasia is a disorder that affects the language center of the brain. People with aphasia, which is most commonly caused by a stroke, have trouble verbalizing what they want to say, understanding what they have heard, reading and writing.  Most aphasia sufferers require speech therapy, which can be provided by our Rehabilitation Services Department or to eligible people in their home by our VNA.
