Make the world a little brighter when you honor or memorialize a loved one through a gift that benefits everyone. Your gift of a light will be a bright symbol of your loved one, whose name will be listed in the “Tree of Life” program. Held for patients, families and friends affected by cancer, the public is also invited to attend this special celebration-of-life ceremony, which will include the lighting of the tree.
Family members and friends can be honored or remembered by buying a light on the tree in their name for $10.00 (per light), or by purchasing a luminary for $25.00 (per luminary) or a Silver Angel for $100.00 (per angel) or a Gold Angel for $200.00 (per angel.) Proceeds from this special program will benefit the “Oliva Patient Comfort Fund” and the establishment of a Hospice Program at the Medical Center.
The ceremony will begin with refreshments and entertainment, moving outside at 6:15 p.m. for the tree-lighting event. Bring your family and friends for an evening of positive affirmation that celebrates the unique and wonderful gift of life.
Donations are accepted all throughout the year, but in order to be part of the Tree of Life program, your donation must be received by November 26.
