Annual Golf Classic
On August 25 at the Franklin Country Club, the weather was perfect for golfing – warm, dry and sunny. But golfing wasn’t the only purpose on this picture perfect day. Golfers, sponsors and the community came together on this day to raise over $200,000 for Milford Regional Medical Center at the 19th Annual Golf Classic.
Twenty-eight thousand dollars was raised through the second annual WMRC 1490 AM Radiothon, which was broadcast live during the tournament. Funds contributed through the Golf Classic and the Radiothon will be used in the areas of greatest need.
The tournament and Radiothon would not be possible without the hard work of the Golf Classic Committee members.
