Milford Regional is committed to ensuring all of our non-English speaking and deaf, or hard-of-hearing patients receive the language assistance necessary to communicate and understand the care and treatment provided to them during their stay with us.
Language Services
Milford Regional provides free 24/7 audio and remote video language interpretation that offers support to over 200 languages spoken by our patient population. In addition, Milford Regional has a full-time, in-house Portuguese medical interpreter to assist with the Portuguese speaking population.

Sign Language Services
Milford Regional provides free 24/7 American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters as well as remote video sign language translation for deaf and hard of hearing patients. If you need to request an ASL interpreter for a scheduled appointment, please call in advance, Interpreter Services Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at 1-508-422-2148.
If you need an interpreter for any other type of interpreting needs after hours and weekends, please call the switchboard.
